Last post?

Today has been the day: the day when finally we have presented our respective project in the auditorium to the rest of the group. In my case, I wasn't nervous due to mi project presentation is just a video. Despite the idea of the video didn't seem (to me) a very good one, during this morning speech I have realized that it has been a very original idea of presenting.
Although we haven't been the winners, mean the students that are going to present their idea to a company, I feel it has been a very great experience.

The second part of this post is focused on that this one is going to be my last post of the course. Writing this blog, I have learnt to communicate ideas, feelings and to share curious facts that happens in my daily life. I hope all of you have enjoyed this blog because it has required a big dedication and effort. One of the things I've extracted with this experience is that currently world is completely globalized, I said that because of  the high number of visits I've received from contries as United States or Germany.
Although this is my last post of the course, I don't reject the idea of writing another blog in the future. Maybe, we'll see again before you think so. Who knows?

End is near

Last day class made me taking in the account that there is only one week left to the end of this course. It has arrived very fast, it seems to be yesterday when I was studying the subjects of the first term and now I have almost finished all them, despite the difficulties of the beginning.

In relation to this subject I have to say that I have learnt a lot with it because it has been as a little preparation to the real professional world where reports, communication skills and minutes form part of the daily life. I also think that I won't evaluate how much has this subject served me focused on the future until I was there, mean working, when adult.

From now on, I won't have this subject in order to know how to work and the proper way of writing reports and minutes, but it doesn't scare me. I want to see if I have learnt well what I had to!!!!

Thinking about this blog

Today Communication Skills class has made me thought about this blog that I have been writing almost daily during the last two months and a half. With it, I havereflected about classes, about how to improve my job, about how to do a presentation, etc... In addition to all that this blog has been a way of gather other people what daily life has made me think abou and share my opinion with many people around the world. Surprisingly, I have received visits from far places like US or Germany. I don't know if people do agree with me in my opinions of the different themes I have written in this blog when entring, but I do know one thing: if I have received so many visits there must be, at least, someone who likes it and that means that the blog has been a good idea!!

Meeting focused on the final project

At least, after a long time without meeting we have finally met in order to prepare the script we're going to follow in the final project. Despite the spent long time since the last meeting it hasn't been such difficult as I thought because everyone had worked by himself. That's an important part of working in groups: everyone must do his part properly in order to make the global project better. Let's see on Friday how the project presentation has gone!!!

Material Science presentation

Today, we have presented our Materials Science project about polimers. As a difference with respect to the Aerospace presentation, I have to say that I haven't felt nervous during today exposition and my English has experienced an important improvement. One of the causes of that is that I have used my Tablet in order to have a script to follow.In addition, I think using an electronic device gives me a more professional view and that is quite important because, as we have learnt in this subject, the image we communicate is essential when presenting a project

Starting feeling nervous

Final exams are arriving and this is a very easy thing to see. In addition, we also have to perform many projects in every subject and this is not one of the things I like doing because this means less time to study the exams. Despite all that, I feel that although the end of this course is not gonna be easy, I'll find the way of overcoming to it. I'll try to do my best and in the case of not achieving that, I won't be sad because I know I have done all I have been able to.

The eggdrop contest

During today class, O have been thinking about the eggdrop contest that will be hold on Friday afternoon. Sincerily, I feel that our team don't have real options due to the high-levell of the presented projects of other participants. Despite all that, we're waiting for the Eggdrop with ilusion because as many people say "the important part is participating and trying it.In addition, participating in a contest very related to our grade is quite exciting. Maybe we'll have a surprise with Friday results!!!
